Foothills Ambush -- Part 3

I jumped down from the tree on top of the ninja from the sun, who had knocked out the kid from my village. --I guess you wanna know who I am. The name's Kaori, I'm an ANBU, Reicheru's partner. We're matched the same. We have been since we met, I'm the best ANBU againt at silent killing, since I don't talk much anyway.--
The ninja spun around and glared at me, his pale blue hair glinting in the sun light, "Great!" He said making dramatic hand waves, "A ANBU dog!" He somewhat spat. My eyes turned to slits, he grinned, "What. Nothing to say?" I sighed, then put my chakra into my feet and legs, so I could run extremely fast, like, you blink and I'm gone. He blinked surprised when I vanished, then he fell with a thump on the ground when I knocked him to the ground.
"Oof..." He said winded, my eyes were slits as I looked down at him,
     "Get Lost." I some-what hiss.
The other ninja looked surprised, "So you can talk!" He said with a hint of laughter. My eyes slited again and he flinched. He turned around, but before he left he shot over his shoulder,
"You can't keep her safe forever you know." He said and ran off. I knew what he meant, I couldn't keep Michi away from her brother....

After the incounter with the Sun ninja, Michi and Emi came along with me. Soon we met up with Reicheru, Kyoko and Shikuta. I glanced at the three.
"Michi!" Kyoko said happily and hopped over to her friend,
"Hiya." Michi said casually and Emi barked. I turned to Reicheru, and looked down to her leg where there was a small blood stain, my eyebrow rose.
Reicheru held up her hands, "No I didn't run into trouble, Kyoko here had all the fun without me." She grinned. I rolled my eyes.
"Soo," I said, and didn't have to go on, Reicheru knew me well enough, she told me what was going on. I nodded, and sent Michi and Emi back to the village.

Just my dumb luck! ( Michi ) Part 2

Standing right in front of me was a Jonin from the Village hidden in the Sun ( Place I made up ~~ Daniee )
"I know you're there!" He yelled, and started to run to my position.
I quickly made the hand symbol for The art of the shadow doppleganger, Then Emi and I jumped up to the top of the tree. I pulled out my sword in mid-air. The doppleganger me ran out from the cover of the tree, the Jonin simply side stepped and wacked it. It disapered in a puff of smoke.
"Ok come on! I know that trick!" He yelled, I blinked and he seemed to vanish!
"Whatca looking for?" I spun around, and there he was standing not to far from me! "Your not to bad kid" He said and smiled. His hand didn't even seem to move, and I felt a sharp pain in the side of my head and the ground was rushing to meet me and everything went black.

Just my dumb luck ( Michi ) Part 1

I sighed, looking around. Nobody was around, Kyoko was out on a mission and everyone else was training or, like Kyoko, out on a mission. " Oh c'mon! " I yelled and got up.
Next thing I knew I was it the forest where unlike most others in the village I like the most. Emi, my partner, dog and most trusted friend padded up behind me, her ears twiching. " What? What is it girl? " I say bending down to pat her, her eyes said it all... We weren't alone. I jumped to my left just as a kunai landed right where I was standing a few seconds ago. " Whew... " I gasp, " C'mon out wittle Genin! " A voice came from the other side of the clearing. I peek around the tree and gasp.

Foothills Ambush-- Part 2

     Great.
First, a tracking mission in the Land of Lightning, now I have to help these weirdos? Well, at least I know them....
My name's Reicheru, and I'm a tracker from the Village Hidden in the Night, and a part of the ANBU. My job is to track rogue ninja and destroy any evidence of their existence, because their bodies hold the village secrets, and other hidden villages may try to use them against us. The ninja I was tracking today fled to the Land of Lightning, so I had to go find him. I don't know why they chose me for such an insignificant target....
You see, I'm jonin, a part of ANBU, a tracker, and I'm a medical-nin, but I don't stay solely on backup, or even defense. I am trained to kill, heal, destroy, repair, and above all, think. In the ANBU, I'm the best of the best. The good ANBU agents become a part of the ANBU Black Ops, the great become trackers. And then there's me. I will become Shadōkage someday, believe it! Even though I'm, technically speaking, already better than the current Shadōkage....
Moving on. After I destroyed all evidence of the target in Kumogakure, the Village Hidden in the Clouds, I was sent on a mission to help a group of genin and their squad leader. At first I thought I didn't have the right ninja. They had already wiped out over a dozen Chūnin and two Jōnin. Yet although they had effectively killed them, it wasn't in the least efficient. *Sigh* I recognized their fighting style. It was Shikuta, Roran, Kyoko and Orihime. Kyoko could level several platoons of jōnin in seconds, not to mention almost everything else within 50 metres with her fan. She was the most impressive, and she's a part of the Hyuga clan.
As I was tracking down Orihime and her squad, I could hear a group of five Chūnin and one Jōnin approaching. I leaped into the nearest tree to camouflage myself, and launched out a volley of shuriken and kunai. The Chūnin were killed immediately but the Jōnin still hung on to life. I was feeling merciful then, so I killed him quickly.
Soon after I caught up with Kyoko. She had just finished off a squad, and was leaping through the trees again. I didn't want her to mistake me for an enemy, so while I was 10 metres behind, I cleared my throat. She was still surprised though, and disappeared from view for few seconds. She shot several shuriken, then came out, realising who it was.
"Uh... oops?" She greeted me nervously.
"At least you didn't use your fan!" I responded cheerfully, and lightly punched her arm after removing a shuriken from my leg. "I've had much worse.
"Now, let's get to finding the rest of your squad!" And we set off through the leaves. One of my favourite things about Kyoko was that she's fast. I didn't have to slow down for her, unlike my comrades on my Tracker squad.
We soon found Shikuta in the middle of a fight with a Chūnin, and 2 others lay unconscious on the ground. We could see he would win, even with his left shoulder bleeding from a long slice, so we stayed hidden to watch him finish off the fight. He feigned a punch, the chunin aimed to kick his face. Shikuta crouched, then spun in a circle with his right leg sticking out to trip the chunin. It worked. The chunin fell flat on his face, and Shikuta flipped him over on to his back, sat on his chest and pinned his arms down with his feet, then punched him out to dump on his own territory later.
When Shikuta had finished dragging the chunin over to his other comerades, Kyoko stepped off of the tree branch with her hands in the air and exclaimed "Don't shoot!"
He spun around, ready and tense on defense, then relaxed as he saw who had spoken.
"Nah, I think I might just throw some for the hell of it," He replied with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Save 'em for the enemy, would'ja?"
"Speaking of which," I stepped off the tree to land in between them, interrupting their exchange. "We have to find Orihime and Roran too, ya know."
"Of course we wouldn't forget!" Exclaimed Shikuta.
     "Then let's get moving!"
And we were off into the trees once more.

Soooo Sorry!! "^ ^

I'm sooo sorry to all you faithful readers, (Like Daniee!) That I've been taking sooo long! I'll try  harder to finish the chapters faster, and make them longer. If you have any ideas for the story, just comment! Sometimes I might even leave the fate of the story up to you, the readers! If you want your character to become a ninja, comment their name, age, and a little bit about them (no picture) and I'll try to add a section of all the ninjas! Sorry, if this doesn't make much sense, I'm a little short on time right now. "^ ^ (it's a nervous face. heh) Oh, and I'm probably gonna be taking out some of the less mentioned character and just post them altogether as a squad, with their descriptions seperate.
Thanks soo much for waiting, and I'm writing the chapters now! (Like, this day, in general)

Foothills ambush -- Part 1

     Have you ever felt insignificant?
     I have. Who hasn't?
Today, we-- Orihime, Roran, Shikuta and I-- had a reconnaissance mission. We had to scout out the foot hills behind Konoha. Guess what? The enemy was still there, lying in wait for some people to return. People like us. There were corpses littered all over, some defeated enemies, most fallen comerades.
"Get in the trees and be ready to run, fight or both! Now!" Ordered Orihime.
"What about you?!" I cried. The enemy was nearing.
"Just go!" Shouted Orihime, frustrated now. Did I mention she has a short temper?
     "C'mon Kyoko!" Shouted Shikuta.
There was a rustling behind me in the bushes, right when I was about to leave.
     "Orihime! Behind you!!" I warned.
There was a sudden crash, and a tree branch came down on Shikuta. He told us to leave him-- We said no. Just as we got him out and standing, they were upon us.
As I was drawing out my bladed fan, I began running up the nearest tree. I could hear my pursuers, and easily kill them, but I refrained and put my fan back. I love a good chase!
As I was jumping from branch to branch, I could hear the enemy gaining. I wasn't even at half speed, but I could here them exerting themselves to keep up. I started to veer of course to lose them. I looped around several trees, jumped from unlikely distances to lose them-- All silently. Then, after I had jumped from a low branch to the top of the tree, I waited until they were several hundred metres away, and stepped off the branch to drop to the forest floor. Roughly 12 metres from the ground, I pulled out of my dive to slice the tree and mark to my pursuers where I was going. I took a running leap back onto a branch maybe 15m up, and began to track my companions.
Perhaps I should have never left.
But I'm a little late to regret.

Michi Speaks

Hi everyone!
The names Michi, like my pal Kyoko we also just became Genin-- I'm on a team with Orihime ( The team leader ), Naruko, and Atsuki.
Orihime is a great teacher! She's kind but very hard to beat, * Grunts *.
Naruko's one of the best fighters I've seen!
Atsuki is ok... we've never really talked. Any way I have to admit, Dai doesn't seem to like me much.... * Sighs * I try to talk to him but he just gunts and walks away, he's really cute but rude.
Oh! I think I hear Orihime calling me!
(And no, *Huff* I'm not just changing the subject because Dai is so cute, and strong and amazing....*Dreamy Sigh*
Err, talk to you later!

~~ Michi ~~ <3
